Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.': Adrianne Palicki wrote a comic book

It’s called ‘No Angel’

Posted on

ABC/Nicole Wilder

Adrianne Palicki knows a thing or two about superheroes, having starred as Mockingbird in ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (the character was originally slated to get her own spinoff series, Marvel’s Most Wanted, but ABC eventually decided not to move forward with the show). Now, she’s turning her expertise to an actual superhero comic. No Angel, co-written by Adrianne and her brother Eric Palicki, follows a woman named Hannah Gregory, an Iraq War veteran who returns to her small town following her father’s murder. Hannah quickly realizes that all is not as it seems, and that she may in fact be descended from an ancient race of superhumans foretold in Sumerian tablets and the Book of Genesis.

No Angel #1 is out from Black Mask on Nov. 30. Before that, Black Mask has another series, The Forevers, which has its first issue hit stands Wednesday from writer Curt Pires and artist Eric Pfeiffer. Check out the eerie trailer (reminscent of Stranger Things) above; a look at No Angel is below.
