It has been five years since we first met Chris Hemsworth’s blond beefcake Thor and Tom Hiddleston’s trickster god Loki in the original Thor. Now, the pair are donning their Asgardian garb once again for the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, and to celebrate, Hiddleston shared a selfie with Hemsworth in costume — as well as an old comparison photo of the duo from five years ago.
Earlier Monday, Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi shared a few photos from the Ragnarok set, including one of Hemsworth and Hiddleston reuniting in front of a newsstand. While Hemsworth’s earlier photo showed some of the newspapers’ headlines — including “Villain Loki Spotted” and “Hammer Attack” — Hiddleston’s selfie gives us a slightly closer look. The new headlines appear to read “Has Thor Returned! God of thunder strikes up with Lady Justice” and “Time Square Murder! Australian girl massacred while enjoying her holiday.”
In addition to Hemsworth and Hiddleston, other returning cast members include Mark Ruffalo, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins. Cate Blanchett is also headed to Asgard as the villainous Hela, alongside Karl Urban as Skurge, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster.
Thor: Ragnarok will hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
