Robert De Niro vs. Donald Trump wages on. While attending the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival to accept a lifetime achievement award, the actor called the Republican presidential nominee “totally nuts” and unfit to lead America.

“I don’t know, it’s crazy that people like Donald Trump,” De Niro said, according to Reuters. “He shouldn’t even be where he is, so God help us.”

He added, “I think people now are starting to really push back. The media, they’ve given him all this attention and finally they’re starting to say, ‘Come on, Donald. This is ridiculous. This is nuts. This is insane,’ ’cause what he’s been saying is really, totally crazy, ridiculous stuff…he’s totally nuts.”

Back in April, De Niro spoke candidly about Trump to NBC’s Brian Williams, likening the candidate to a car salesman and his campaign to “a big hustle.” Trump responded, “I like his acting, but in terms of when I watch him doing interviews and various other things, we’re not dealing with Albert Einstein.”

Later at the GLAAD Media Awards in May, De Niro joked, “You think you’ve got it bad, [LGBT] community? I don’t think you know what it’s like to be really discriminated against. I recently turned on the television news and saw this odd guy with little hands, and he was, like, raving. Turns out the ones being discriminated against are straight, middle-aged white men.”
