In the new, Sundance Festival-screened horror-comedy Antibirth, Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black) and Chloë Sevigny (Big Love, American Horror Story) play a pair of hard-partying pals who spend their days in a druggy haze. Then, Lyonne’s character Lou wakes up with the symptoms of an unexplained, and highly abnormal, pregnancy.
Who — or what — is growing inside her? Just what the hell is going on? And does it actually involve “hell”?
Written and directed by Danny Perez, Antibirth costars Meg Tilly (Agnes of God) and Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World). The film is being released in cinemas, on VOD, and via digital platforms by IFC Midnight on Sept. 2.
