The cast for the third season of John Ridley’s anthology series American Crime is rounding into shape— and it’s starting to look very familiar, as Timothy Hutton is once again returning.

The Golden Globe and Academy Award-winner is the latest actor from the ABC drama’s first two seasons to sign up for another round, joining Felicity Huffman, Regina King, and Richard Cabral.

“John and I are thrilled to have Tim return to season 3,” said executive producer Michael McDonald. “We believe that Tim’s undeniable talent will be showcased in a role unlike anything we have ever seen from Tim. He will shock the audience in a darker twisted turn as a wealthy man struggling to keep his family and fortune.”

Hutton’s performance in the first season earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie.

Details are limited on the story for season 3, but it will be set in North Carolina and deal with labor issues, economic divides, and individual rights.
