What to Watch Wednesday: 'Mr. Robot' logs back on for season 2

Plus: John Cena hosts the 2016 ESPY Awards

Mr. Robot

USA, 10 p.m.

Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail is worried about spoilers and so are we. So, we’ll just share the network’s vague Mad Men promo-esque logline for the 90 minute season two premiere (adjust your DVRs accordingly): “back. one month later and omfg, five/nine changed the world. elliot in seclusion. USA, 9 p.m.

Even though Mike Ross is in prison, the show won’t be changing its name to Jumpsuit. While Mike gets acquainted with his new digs, Harvey, Jessica, and Louis — the show’s remaining suits — fight to save the firm, which is a typical Wednesday for them at this point. The A-Word

Sundance TV, 10 p.m.

This six-episode series follows a multigenerational family as it adjusts to its youngest son being diagnosed with autism. You can expect the family’s struggle to accept the diagnosis to generate a lot of angst. Check out an exclusive clip featuring former Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston from the premiere here.


2016 ESPY Awards

ABC, 8 p.m.

Come to see Trainwreck scene-stealer and America’s new national treasure John Cena host his first award show, stay to see Justin Timberlake honor this year’s Icon Award honorees Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning, and Abby Wambach with a special performance.
