The Rayburn family isn’t done with their secrets and lies just yet. Netflix has renewed its acclaimed original series Bloodline for a third season.
Season 3 will air sometime in 2017 and consist of 10 episodes, Netflix announced Wednesday. The recently released second season also contained 10 total episodes.
The drama follows the complicated lives of a Florida family who have to come to terms with the dark secrets of their pasts after the return of black sheep brother Danny. Bloodline has earned its stars Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, and Ben Mendelsohn nominations for Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and our own EWwy Award, among other plaudits.
“Todd [Kessler], Daniel [Zelman], and Glenn [Kessler] have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, in a statement.
