Brittany Howard and Jim James cover the Backstreet Boys for Chipotle

Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard and My Morning Jacket’s Jim James teamed up to cover the Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” for an animated short advertising Chipotle, where the talented duo give the 1999 hit a bluesy makeover.

Howard and James previously joined forces for a track on a 2013 Fela Kuti cover album titled RED HOT + FELA. They join a handful of fellow respected artists like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O and Fiona Apple who’ve also donated their voices to Chipotle advertisements.
