Celebrities: they’re sports fanatics just like us, and they’ve taken to social media to express excitement over the Cleveland Cavaliers’ historic NBA Championship win Sunday night.

LeBron James led the Ohio team to a 93-89 victory against the Golden State Warriors during the final face-off in a seven-game series, making the Cavaliers the first Cleveland team to earn a major professional sports title since 1964.

James was named MVP of the series, after scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds, and performing 11 assists in the deciding Game 7. After splitting with his hometown team (he hails from the nearby Akron, Ohio) in 2010, James joined the Miami Heat, with whom he won two NBA titles. He eventually returned to the Cavs in 2014. The 31-year old, who’s also starred in Hollywood films like 2015’s Trainwreck, shouted, “Cleveland, this is for you!” shortly after the final game.

Check out what the stars, including Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, Leslie Jones, Jay Z, and Cleveland natives like Drew Carey and Yvette Nicole Brown are saying about the Cavs’ monumental NBA title in the posts below.
