Fergie, “Hungry (1st Bye) (Intro)”

Dance pop star and former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard teamed up with British producer Oshi for “Lemonade Lakes” as part of Yours Truly and Adidas’ Songs from Scratch series, and though that’s a mouthful, the tune excels at packing a punch with minimal, glittery beats. “She’s taking you away,” Richard sings in a fading breathy whisper fit for zonked-out after hours. B+ –Jessica Goodman
