Andy Cohen announces Superficial book under his new celebrity imprint

Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen is launching his own book imprint at Henry Holt and Co. and releasing a nonfiction title (his third), Superficial: More Adventures from The Andy Cohen Diaries, the TV personality announced Thursday.

“SUPERFICIAL: MORE ADVENTURES FROM THE ANDY COHEN DIARIES coming NOVEMBER 15!” Cohen wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the upcoming book’s cover. “I’m also launching my own imprint, ANDY COHEN BOOKS, with my publisher, Holt! Exciting day!!” 

According to The Andy Cohen Diaries website, “hopping from the Hamptons to the Manhattan dating world, the dog park to the red carpet, Cardinals superfan and mama’s boy Andy Cohen, with Wacha in tow, is the kind of star that fans are dying to be friends with. This book gives them that chance.”

The site, where fans can also pre-order the title ahead of its fall release, also deems Superficial “dishier, juicier, and friskier” than Cohen’s previous literary venture, as it details Cohen’s uninhibited accounts of (and opinions on) his various personal and professional escapades. 

Cohen joins a growing list of celebrities with their own book imprints at major publishers, including Lena Dunham (Lenny at Random House), Chelsea Handler (Borderline Amazing at Grand Central Publishing), Gwyneth Paltrow (Goop Press at Grand Central Publishing), and Johnny Depp (Infinitum Nihil at HarperCollins). Aside from Superficial — out Nov. 15 — no other titles have been announced under the Andy Cohen Books brand.
