Yolanda Hadid's book about battling Lyme disease due out next year

Posted on

Yolanda Hadid of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills announced Wednesday she has signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press to publish her new book entitled BELIEVE ME: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease. After a controversial season on the Bravo hit reality franchise, Hadid continually defended herself against the other housewives who doubted Lyme disease’s effect on her. It looks as though she will get the last word in her book.

Hadid spent her youth modeling and was previously married to David Foster and Mohamed Hadid, with whom she had three children: Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. Gigi and Bella Hadid have both reached stratospheric levels of fame due to their own modeling careers. Bella and Anwar also suffer from Lyme disease.

The book will detail Hadid’s fight with the disease and her determination to increase awareness. She plans on revealing details of her life and her treatments. Hadid hopes to use her platform to educate others about the disease. The book is expected to be released in February 2017.
