Details of the film, which begins shooting this July, are still vague but we do know that its events take pace several decades after the 1982 film and that Ford will be again portraying Rick Deckard.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 6, 2017. The Hollywood Reporter was first to report Davis’ casting.
