Therapy for a Vampire: A bloodsucker swaps his coffin for a couch — exclusive clip

Posted on

Set in pre-World War II Vienna, the comedy Therapy for a Vampire stars Tobias Moretti as a bloodsucker named Count von Közsnöm, who has lost his thirst for life. Fortunately, Sigmund Freud (Karl Fischer) is accepting new patients and suggests the Count appease his vain wife (Jeanette Hain) by commissioning a portrait of her by his assistant, Viktor (Dominic Oley). But it’s Viktor’s headstrong girlfriend Lucy (Cornelia Ivancan) who most intrigues the Count, who is convinced she’s the reincarnation of his one true love.

Therapy for a Vampire opens June 10 and is written and directed by David Ruehm with cinematography from Martin Gschlacht (last year’s chiller Goodnight Mommy). You can see the film’s trailer below and an exclusive clip, above.
