Directors Jean-Loup Felicioli and Alain Gagnol, whose stylish A Cat in Paris earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature in 2012, are back with the new animated feature Phantom Boy, which has now released a trailer for U.S. audiences.
The film, done with the same visual flourishes, centers on a young boy, Leo, with a mysterious illness that allows him to leave his body and roam the world as a ghostly entity. He teams up with a New York City detective, Alex, in order to stop a gangster from taking control of the city’s power supply.
