The real winner of the 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee? The Dab.

As ESPN helpfully captured for the Internet, a trend during the annual event on Thursday night was kids dabbing after answers — whether from on stage or in the crowd.

“Dab,” ESPN wrote on its Vine account. Indeed.

The actual winner of the spelling be? Well, there were two: 11-year-old Nihar Janga and 13-year-old Jairam Hathwar.
