Wednesday marked the 37th anniversary of the original Alien hitting theaters, and to celebrate, the upcoming Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel — titled Alien: Covenant — has shared a first look at its new lead character: Katherine Waterston’s Daniels.
The behind-the-scenes shot (above) from Ridley Scott’s upcoming thriller shows a short-haired Waterston and the ominous caption “Nowhere to run.” Plot details for Alien: Covenant are scarce so far, but we know Waterston’s character Daniels is a crew member on the colony ship Covenant, which discovers a seemingly utopian planet hiding dark secrets. The planet’s only inhabitant is the android David (Michael Fassbender, reprising his role from Prometheus).
