Oscar Isaac's Ex Machina dance works with any pop song

Posted on

Before Oscar Isaac took to the intergalactic skies in Star Wars, the actor — in his words — tore up the f—ing dance floor in Ex Machina.

The lighthearted moment in the thrilling sci-fi film saw Isaac’s eccentric character Nathan dancing with one of his robot creations, scored to “Get Down Saturday Night” by Oliver Cheatham.

What if they were dancing to some other tune? Twitter user @oscardances is fielding fan requests, starting with “Eskimo” by Louden Swain.

Nathan and Kyoko also get down to “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”; it’s a perfect combo.

Kim Possible‘s theme song is an unexpected highlight.

Isaac, like Carly Rae Jepsen, apparently has “Boy Problems.”

Simon and Garfunkel… an odd choice.

To stick with the disco theme, “Boogie Wonderland” by Earth, Wind & Fire is a beautiful track as Domhnall Gleeson looks on in horror.
