We’re used to seeing movie heists go awry. But quite how awry can one go? That question is fully, and bloodily, explored in the new survival-thriller, Carnage Park, in theaters and on VOD, July 1.
Written and directed by Mickey Keating (the Must List-approved Darling) the film concerns two bank-robbers, their hostage, and a maniacal marksman happy to train his gunsight on anyone who wanders into his patch of wilderness. The movie’s cast includes Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills), Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off), James Landry Hébert (Looper), Darby Stanchfield (Scandal), Michael Villar, horror director Larry Fessenden, and Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism), the latter of whom can be scoped out in the new poster for Carnage Park, above.
