Ginger Zee is suffering from back spasms in the wake of a pelvis injury, EW has learned. A source confirms the injury may prevent Zee from performing in the Dancing with the Stars two-night finale, which kicks off Monday.

“Right now she can’t dance at 100 percent and Jenna Johnson is standing in for her during camera blocking,” the insider said of the Good Morning America meteorologist, who has made it to the finals with DWTS regular Val Chmerkovskiy.

The source adds: “She won’t know until the show tomorrow if she can do the dances.”

Following her injury, Zee stepped in front of the ABC cameras to explain her situation. “I couldn’t even do two of my dress rehearsal runs today because, for one, I can’t even do some of the moves — I’m not allowed to,” she says in the clip, above. “So Jenna stood in for me and I was able to kind of watch. I’m not there. I’m not even close to where I need to be to perform.

DWTS‘ two-night finale begins Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
