Seth Meyers' Second Chance Theatre put on an old cut 'SNL' sketch

The writing process of Saturday Night Live inevitably means that many sketch ideas get left by the wayside. Luckily for Seth Meyers, he is poised to take advantage of this, since a decent amount of his guests tend to be SNL veterans. Tuesday’s episode of Late Night featured the latest iteration of his “Second Chance Theater” segment, in which he and guests reenact old unused SNL bits. This one featured Greta Gerwig, Kenan Thompson, Andy Samberg, and most importantly, “Andy Samberg’s hair from 2006.”

Following a Twilight Zone-like introduction from Meyers, the sketch kicked off, featuring Samberg as an inebriated guy named Graham, who is trying to get his coworkers to accompany him to the bathroom. He asked each of them, individually, if they “wanna come with?” After they all turn him down, he kept remarking how “wasted” he is, to no effect. Eventually, Samberg’s Graham got so drunk he broke the fourth wall, walking right up to the camera.

“Hey, I didn’t see you there,” Samberg said to the viewer. “I’m gonna hit the head, you wanna come with? Okay cool, I’ll just meet you there. I’m so wasted.”
