Mariah Carey is one of pop culture’s foremost divas, a title she upheld on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live by showing up late and forcing host Andy Cohen to stall for her. When she did get there, she made Cohen switch seats with her to show off her good side.

Later, in the actual interview, Cohen asked Carey about when she famously responded to a question about Jennifer Lopez by saying, “I don’t know her.”

“That was so long ago, I can’t believe people still make such a big deal out of it,” Carey said.

Cohen charged ahead, asking once and for all if she knew Lopez, since he said Lopez knew her.

“You know what? I’m very forgetful,” Carey said. “Apparently, I’m forgetful because I don’t remember the fact it was just. ‘Hi, I’m so-and-so,’ and then move on.” She paused and pointed to a stranger in the audience: “If I had never had a conversation with you and someone asked me about you, I would be like, ‘I don’t know him, but he seems cool.'”

This prompted the easy follow-up question: Does Lopez seem cool? Carey doubled down.

“I don’t know her,” she said, again.
