Josh Gad made a case for The Angry Birds Movie on Wednesday, posting 10 reasons why families should flock to theaters to see the feathery flick this weekend.
His rationale ranges from age appropriateness (“Neighbors 2 is most likely not something you want to watch with your 10-year-old. It’s like when I watched Indecent Proposal with my mom at 13. I truly regret that.”); to stellar acting turns (“This is arguably Sean Penn’s best performance since Mystic River. I say arguably, because you could easily argue against this.”); to next-big-hit potential (“Angry Birds is the Frozen of its generation but without the princesses or the songs or the fairy tale setting — I think I misunderstood the question.”), and more.

The actor also shared his thoughts about Ghostbusters, upon the release of the new trailer. “Sorry. The naysayers are just wrong about #ghostbusters. The trailer brings a giant smile to my face,” he wrote on Twitter.
Directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly from a script by Jon Vitti, The Angry Birds Movie tells the origins of the battle between the flightless birds and the pigs who took their eggs, as seen in the hit mobile game. In addition to Gad, Jason Sudeikis, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, and Bill Hader are amongst the voice cast. Ghostbusters, meanwhile, is an update to the 1980s classic with Paul Feig at the helm and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth, It will spook theaters on July 15.
