Chance the Rapper shared another new song Thursday in advance of his impending third mixtape Chance 3. The 23-year-old Chicago rapper premiered “No Problem,” which features guest spots from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program.
Chance has teased Chance 3 for some time and announced last week that the new collection will drop May 13. The mixtape will be his first since 2013’s Acid Rap, although Chance contributed heavily to last year’s Surf by Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment. He debuted another fresh single, “Blessings,” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month.
In an extensive Complex interview published Wednesday with Chance and Hamilton mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda, the MC said Chance 3 “is way better than Surf. … Donnie [Trumpet] is awesome, and the project was awesome, but this is all of us focusing our efforts into some very hip-hop and very dance-y shit, and it feels good.” Chance and Miranda also determined President Obama should release a mixtape.
