Steven Tyler has announced a string of solo summer performance dates dubbed the Steven Tyler … Out on a Limb tour.

The tour coincides with Tyler’s recent decision to pursue country music: The Aerosmith singer announced his plans to release a solo country album during a March 2015 appearance at the Grand Old Opry, and appeared on the season four premiere of Nashville, an ABC drama about the country music world, in Sept. 2015 to sing Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” with Hayden Panettiere’s character.

Tyler has so far released two country singles, “Love Is Your Name” and “Red, White & You,” and debuted a third song, “Only Heaven” on Monday night during a benefit for Janie’s Fund at New York’s Lincoln Center.

The Monday performance provided a taste of what might come this summer: Backed by the band Love Mary, Tyler performed Aerosmith classics like “Sweet Emotion,” “Jaded,” and “Cryin'” and shared personal stories with the audience.

The 19-city Out on a Limb tour kicks off July 2 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Theater and wraps up on Sept. 13 in Toronto, Canada. Check out the tour dates on his website.
