You’ve already seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens a million times in theaters, and now, you can revisit the world of J.J. Abrams’ film by taking a glimpse at the new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, an upcoming video game set to debut this summer.
The clip features never-before-seen footage from the game, which prompts users to explore new adventures within the familiar universe. According to the trailer, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens allows users to “hunt ravenous Rathtars” and “foil the First Order’s plans” as major characters from the film like Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron. The film’s cast — including Harrison Ford (who can be heard in the trailer), Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver — recorded all-new dialogue for the game.
Players will also navigate locales from the 2015 movie, including Jakku and the Starkiller Base, filtered through LEGO’s signature brand of humor and wit. The game includes exclusive content that bridges the cinematic gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, offering a new perspective on the latest Star Wars film’s plot, characters, and settings. Other features premiering in the game are advanced-A.I. enemies and an enhanced Multi-Builds system, where bricks can be used to solve puzzles that advance the story.
Ahead of the game’s June 28 release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and the Nintendo 3DS, watch the new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the video above.
