Your daily guide to the most interesting stuff happening on TV and streaming. All times Eastern.

PICK OF THE NIGHT

Person of Interest

CBS, 10 p.m.

The drama enters its fifth— and final!— season tonight by picking up in real time where we last left off, with the guys all left to their one devices sans the Machine. Gear up by reading our interview with the executive producers here.

SERIES DEBUT

Below Deck Mediterranean

Bravo, 9 p.m.

The spin-off reality show expands upon the original by following a group of crew members working on a mega-yacht as it cruises through Greece. Let’s hope it’ll be less dangerous than the cruise currently taking place on Fear the Walking Dead.

GET LOWE

The Grinder

FOX, 9:30 p.m.

Like Denzel Washington in Crimson Tide, Rob Lowe’s Dean wants to throw himself into a sub-plot. Hey-o!

CHAN ON JANIS

American Masters

PBS, 10 p.m.

Oh, lord, won’t you bring me a documentary about legendary singer Janis Joplin narrated by Cat Power’s Chan Marshall? Oh, look—prayers answered!

NIGHT CAP

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

NBC, 11:35 p.m.

Chris Evans, a.k.a. Captain America, pays a visit to Fallon. Hopefully they’ll be civil. Eh?
