“Not every Republican is a dog,” Carrie Fisher tweeted, but her special guest for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was.

The Star Wars actress brought her French bulldog, named Gary, to the media event over the weekend. “Look who else is at the Nerd Prom,” she wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of her pup’s credentials.

The duo even hit the red carpet and posed for photographers alongside Marvel movie star Tom Hiddleston — though the dog seemed pretty unfazed by the celebrity encounter.
