The Jeffersonian has another serial killer on its hands.

In this exclusive clip from Thursday’s Bones, Hodgins (TJ Thyne) and Arastoo (Pej Vahdat) have some disturbing findings to share with Brennan (Emily Deschanel). For starters, the killer fed the victim porridge — after the victim was already dead.

And this is no “amateur psychopath”: The marks on this body line up with another set of remains, which came to the lab during Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan’s time away from the job. If the partners hadn’t quit, could they have saved the latest victim’s life?

“It’s the closest to a horror kind of episode that we’ve ever done,” co-showrunner Michael Peterson tells EW of the hour, which counts Psycho and The X-Files‘ classic “Home” as influences. “Don’t watch it alone.”
