Queen Bey is back: On Saturday, Beyoncé finally released new music.
Lemonade, Beyoncé’s new 12-track visual album, started streaming on Tidal following the premiere of the singer’s hour-long film of the same name on HBO. The video for the first single, “Formation,” was released in February, and the Beyhive has been abuzz with anticipation ever since.
Lemonade was made available to download iTunes and Amazon Monday morning, and the highly personal conceptual project has already garnered celebrity accolades, inspired countless deep dives, and became fodder for GIF appreciation posts. From here, Bey’s latest will undoubtedly become as ubiquitous and obsessed-over as her previous solo effort (and first visual album), 2013’s Beyoncé; the only real question left is: Which Lemonade track will be 2016’s song of the summer?
