FX has announced summer premiere dates for two of their returning series. The Denis Leary comedy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll will return for its second season on Thursday, June 30, at 10 p.m. Political drama Tyrant will kick off its third season on Wednesday, July 6, at 10 p.m.

Joining the cast of Tyrant for the upcoming season is Chris Noth (The Good Wife), as a U.S. military leader offering support to the fictional country of Abuddin, and Annet Mahendru (The Americans), who will play the hard-nosed wife of the Ma’an’s leader.

The end of Tyrant’s second season saw Barry (Adam Raynor) reluctantly take over as Abbudin’s president after his brother Jamal (Ashraf Barhom) is shot and his fate left in question.
