Video game voice actress Keeley Hawes doesn’t just give life to the digital Lara Croft, she makes all of the grunts, sighs, and moans associated with the Tomb Raider. What’s more entertaining than listening to a compilation of all these sounds out of context is Hugh Grant‘s reaction to them.
Graham Norton played an audio compilation of the various sounds of Hawes’ Croft for his talk show guests, including Meryl Streep, who doesn’t know what a Tomb Raider is. Not even halfway through, all three were in stitches, especially after seeing the look on Grant’s face.

When she first started the gig, the voice actress said that her son (now 15) didn’t fully understand that the character in the tight shorts had his mother’s voice. “He said, ‘I like the way the lady runs,'” Hawes recollected, after which she joked she banned him from playing the game.
