Your daily guide to the most interesting stuff happening on TV and streaming. All times Eastern.

PICK OF THE NIGHT

The Detour

TBS, 9 p.m.

Detour comes from one of comedy’s foremost husband-wife duos, Jason Jones and Samantha Bee, though only one of them stars in the series. Jones and costar Natalie Zea play two stressed-out parents who are embarking on the road trip from hell, which gets chronicled throughout the season. To find out more, check out our critic Darren Franich’s review here.

PLAY BALL

Jackie Robinson

PBS, 9 p.m.

Ken Burns co-directs a four-hour doc on the baseball legend, as Ken Burns is wont to do. The second half, which will largely cover Robinson’s more political post-baseball career, airs Tuesday. And if you’re wondering, the other co-directors on the project are his daughter and son-in-law.

SERIES DEBUT

Cake Masters

Food, 9 p.m.

The new show kicks off with bakers creating a cake in honor of a videogame. Is it called … Hangry Birds?

ANOTHER SERIES DEBUT

Gay For Play Game Show Starring RuPaul

Logo, 10 p.m.

Ru-Tang Clan, assemble! The Drag Race host expands his empire with a new pop culture quiz show.

YET ANOTHER SERIES DEBUT

The Real Housewives of Dallas

Bravo, 10 p.m.

A lot of people don’t know this, but the phrase “Don’t mess with Texas” actually ends with “or else it’ll throw a glass of chardonnay in your face.”
