Wedding bells will hopefully be ringing on The Blacklist come Thursday night as Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) prepare to walk down the aisle — though Red (James Spader) is none too pleased with Elizabeth’s decision and may try to stop the nuptials.
Unfortunately, Red’s not the only threat standing in the couple’s way as Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) returns to the fold for a two-parter kicking off Thursday night, aptly titled “Mr. Solomon.” The Blacklister who formerly worked for the Cabal was arrested earlier this season, but is back to cause some trouble. “We know that anywhere these Blacklisters go and where Solomon and all the rest of them are involved, there’s impending danger,” says costar Harry Lennix, whose character, Harold Cooper, will be officiating Liz and Tom’s wedding.

“One of the things that’s exciting about Solomon is that with all his sociopathic tendencies, he is mission-focused, so if he’s going to do something, he’s going to do it and it doesn’t matter who dies along the way,” teases Amir Arison. “Just his character coming in is an enormous threat to the entire Task Force and to the makeup of our show, which is what makes the show exciting. We are about to embark on something I don’t think the show has ever seen before. It has been tremendously exciting. Starting this Thursday all the way until the end of the season, I think is probably the most exciting run and for me personally has been the most challenging.”
The Blacklist returns Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
