Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley fame is now a member of another group: Nice as F—, or NAF for short, a band made up Lewis, Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Forster, and The Like’s Tennessee Thomas. The trio made their debut at a New York rally for Bernie Sanders, where they posed for a photo that Thomas later posted on her Instagram.
Lewis began her career by appearing in movies and TV shows like The Golden Girls and Troop Beverly Hills, and went on to form Rilo Kiley in the late ’90s. Since then, she’s released six albums with the band and three solo albums, the most recent being 2014’s The Voyager.
Forster has been playing with Au Revoir Simone since the keyboard-centric band formed in 2003, and Thomas was The Like’s drummer until their 2011 hiatus.
NAF is set to open for M. Ward — who opened for Lewis on her recent Rabbit Fur Coat anniversary tour — on select dates of his current More Rain tour. See those dates and Thomas’ photo of the new group below.
