After tackling prolonged adolescence and stunted emotional growth in Young Adult, actress Charlize Theron, director Jason Reitman, and screenwriter Diablo Cody are setting their sights on child-rearing.
EW has confirmed that the trio are in early talks to reunite on Cody’s latest script, which is about motherhood and does not yet have a title.
Reitman most recently directed the digital-age ensemble movie Men, Women and Children, and Cody wrote the rock dramedy Ricki and the Flash. The pair previously collaborated on Juno.
Theron received fine notices for her recent role in Mad Max: Fury Road, and her other upcoming movies include The Huntsman: Winter’s War and The Coldest City.
Deadline first reported the motherhood-themed movie.
