LEGO Batman: Batcave set build by fan

Updated

If you liked Will Arnett‘s lair in The Lego Batman Movie trailer, just wait until you check what this Dark Knight fan was able to put together.

Dan Glasure posted photos to Flickr of his latest LEGO creation, the ultimate Batcave for the world’s greatest detective. “When I set out to build our Batcave MOC [My Own Creation], I was well aware there was already some stunning MOCs out there,” he told The Brothers Brick. “So my goal was never ‘to be the biggest or best.’ Rather, I simply hoped to take a little different approach.”

He continued, “My thought was to have a ‘working’ Batcave. I wanted it to look as if this was where ‘The World’s Greatest Detective’ spent a lot of time. Perhaps in his workshop, or in his labs, or working on turbine engines for his vehicles (though maybe that’s Alfred’s job!).”

Arnett, who will be reprising his voice role as the Caped Crusader in next year’s The Lego Batman Movie, should take some notes.

Glasure’s creation has been making headlines after another LEGO project earned some viral recognition. A Star Wars fan put together his own Millennium Falcon last year using approximately 7,500 pieces.
