After announcing Tuesday that two new Anti singles were headed to radio, Rihanna has shared the video for “Kiss It Better.”
The 28-year old singer took to Twitter Wednesday to tease the visual, sharing three steamy shots and a 30-second clip. In the previews, Rihanna writhes around in a thin, transparent sheet backlit with shades of sun-kissed orange and dusky violet. It’s a fitting scene for the song, a seductive, slow-burning ode to ex sex.
The color scheme also plays to her first Anti video, “Work,” in which she similarly donned a sheer top and swirled her hips around a pink and blue-tinged room. That single soared to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for six straight weeks, helping Rihanna to break Michael Jackson’s record and land the third-most Hot 100 No. 1s of all time. It also marked the 14th time the Barbados-born singer scored a No.1 hit. If history is any indication, perhaps “Kiss It Better” will be her 15th win.
