James Corden, Ashton Kutcher sing in dad band on Late Late Show

Posted on

As his One Direction and 5SOS sketches indicate, James Corden loves himself a boy band. But as beautiful as boy bands can be in the moment, nothing gold can stay. On Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show, Corden asked the question: What happens to boy bands when they grow up? Easy: They become dad bands.

Corden joined forces with guests Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson to form the ultimate dad band: the Puff Daddies. Clad in hoodies and weighted down by fake babies in harnesses, the Puff Daddies performed their song “I Am a Dad.” The chorus: “I’m a dad, I don’t go to movies / I’m a dad, I don’t know that song / I’m a dad, my dance moves are goofy.” Other lyrics include the need for sleep and playing animal sound games with babies.
