Cypress Hill tease new music on the way

Cypress Hill, the weed-loving Los Angeles hip-hop group known for songs like “Insane in the Brain,” “Dr. Greenthumb,” and “Rap Superstar,” have some new material in the pipeline.

B-Real and company are already celebrating the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a world tour that kicks off next month, and on Wednesday they released a teaser video promising new music, merchandise, and “much more.”

Cypress Hill’s most recent album, Rise Up, was released in 2010. B-Real did say in an interview with HipHopDX last month that the group is working on an album titled Elephants on Acid that is “pretty much in the finishing stages,” but no details or release date have been announced.
