Bernie Sanders: Alan Cumming endorses democratic presidential candidate

Posted on

Alan Cumming is feeling the Bern. The actor, who plays Chicago campaign manager Eli Gold on The Good Wife, has endorsed Bernie Sanders for president in a new video

“The important thing to remember when you vote for the President of the United States of America is that you’re voting for a leader,” he said. “You’re voting for someone who inspires you, and leads you, and makes you a better person. I’m really inspired by the messages of Bernie Sanders.”

He continued, “I think the fact that he believes that America can be a fair and just country, where everyone can have access to healthcare and education, that really inspires me and that makes me want to vote for a better America.”
