While in Toronto on Friday for his Piano and a Microphone tour, Prince paid tribute to the late David Bowie in covering “Heroes.” Video of the performance was posted on social media by fans in attendance. 

The singer, whom Bowie calledthe most, eclectic artist I’ve seen since me,” delivered two full sets. According to Consequence of Sound, other songs included on Prince’s set list were covers of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You,” Vince Guaraldi’s “Linus & Lucy,” and Bob Marley’s “Waiting in Vain.”

Prince previously tackled Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” during a 2014 performance with Nile Rodgers.
