When Bunheads alumna Sutton Foster walked on the set of Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival for the first time, the self-proclaimed “super nerd” freaked out a bit. Despite the fact that she’d been cast as a new character in the revival, Foster still felt like a fan, calling her experience “crazy” and “beyond.”
And yet, there was one moment that Foster will never forget from her time working on the revival: Her first scene with Lauren Graham. “It was just surreal,” Foster says, adding that when they finished the scene, she burst into tears.
Altogether, Foster says she was “totally satisfied with the experience.” Furthermore, she revealed that her character will appear in two of the four 90-minute episodes — spring and fall — and that her character will interact with more than just Lorelai. It seems her character will come in contact with a few townies, as well, including Babette, Ms. Patty, Sophie, Taylor, and a “few surprises” she can’t talk about just yet.
