Alice Through the Looking Glass TV spot features Sacha Baron Cohen, Johnny Depp

Posted on

A new TV spot for Alice Through the Looking Glass suggests that your missing hour from this morning’s Daylight Saving Time switch was, in fact, stolen.

The culprit could be Time himself, played by Sacha Baron Cohen in Disney’s forthcoming sequel to Tim Burton’s 2010 take on Alice in Wonderland. In the film, Time is part-human, part-clock, and the father of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp, reprising his role).

The film once again stars Mia Wasikowska as the eponymous Alice, who steps through a magical looking glass, returns to Underland, and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter, who has “lost his Muchness.”

Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter return for the sequel, along with the voices of the late Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, and Timothy Spall. Rhys Ifans joins the cast as Zanik Hightopp, along with newcomer Baron Cohen.
