Hey, Chris Harrison: Amy Schumer has a few words for you.
While watching Monday’s The Bachelor: Women Tell All special, the Inside Amy Schumer star called out host Harrison for his comment regarding former contestant Jubilee Sharpe.
“Ben was everything that I thought he was. You know, he didn’t see me and my complicated past as a huge obstacle,” Jubilee said to Harrison about her family’s death during her one-on-one conversation. To which the emcee responded: “I know you can’t control how complicated you are. You might be complicated, and I know you stir the pot sometimes, but I hope you realize you’re a pretty special woman, and I really appreciate you coming here and opening up the way you did.”
Shortly after, Schumer, 34, took to Twitter, criticizing Harrison, 44, for his use of the word “complicated.”

“There is nothing wrong with ‘complicated’ women Chris Harrison. You treated it like something she should fight,” she wrote. “A women shouldn’t try to be less complicated so as to hopefully attract a man. And she shouldn’t find value in herself just because a dude liked her. Come on bro.”
The comedian concluded her series of four tweets saying, “She is smart and strong and a sergeant in the military. She lost her entire family and you say she must fight off being complicated.”
Haitian-born Jubilee is a war veteran, who joined the military at the age of 18 and has completed 4.5 years of active duty. During her first group date, she shared her adoption story and the week later, she opened up about how her biological family died in Haiti. She was sent home week 5.
