Charli XCX is moving from musician to magnate. The pop phenom just announced she’s starting a new label, Vroom Vroom Recordings, and has already signed two acts: London electro group RIVRS and alt singer CuckooLander. The new imprint will also debut Charli XCX’s surprise new EP, Vroom Vroom, on Friday, led by the title banger she premiered on Beats 1 in October.

“Vroom Vroom Recordings is my new, experimental pop label and it will combine my love for bubblegum pop with mystery and darkness,” Charli XCX said in a statement. “The artists coming up through it will be sharp, potent, deadly, and ultimately, will leave their mark on pop music.”

After the announcement, she shared a chest-thumping new track, “Trophy,” streaming below. She’ll premiere “Paradise,” featuring Hannah Diamond, on Beats 1 Wednesday, and will kick off the first installment of her new Beats 1 radio show, “The Candy Shop,” Friday at 3 p.m. ET. She’s also confirmed two shows at SXSW.

Over the last few years, the “Boom Clap” singer has done well to expand her ventures. She’s recorded smash hits with Icona Pop and Iggy Azalea, and released a documentary about sexism in the music industry in November.

“Vroom Vroom,” as well as music from her new signees, is streaming below.
