Last year, when Melissa McCarthy was earning her one-sixteenth share of a hosting gig on the 40th anniversary special of Saturday Night Live, she came out during Weekend Update dressed as Matt Foley, Chris Farley’s hyper-intense loser whose lecture-rants always resulted in some form of set destruction. It’s easy to understand why Foley is one of McCarthy’s favorite characters, since she imbues many of her own comedy creations with a similar social awkwardness that includes constant violations of other people’s personal space and self-deprecating physical humor. On Saturday, which marked her not-quite fifth time as SNL host, she conjured up several Foley-like characters, including at the movie theater test screening and the singles bar, where she ended up shoving her fingers in Kyle Mooney’s mouth.

If you include her appearance on last year’s all-star celebration, McCarthy is the only guest to appear in each of the last five seasons of SNL. She’s one of the go-to guest-hosts and is clearly one of the gang. (Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will star with McCarthy and Kristen Wiig in Ghostbusters later this summer.) In four seasons of EW’s Mr. Saturday Night contest, she’s been the greatest contender to be the first Ms. Saturday Night.

She enters a field that doesn’t have a weak link, however. Larry David made a big splash after his episode, with more than 66 percent of the vote. (That even tops Bernie Sanders’ numbers in New Hampshire!) Ronda Rousey was one-and-done, dropping from first to fifth. No offense to her all-around effort (and ability to kick my ass) but that sounds about right, considering the competition. Whoever turns out to be the odd-host out in this week’s voting will join Amy Schumer and a few others as qualified hosts who just ran out of luck. David’s support figures to come down to Earth, but the other three leftovers will be fighting for every vote to stave off elimination.

Previous vote:

Larry David                        66.9% (—)

Tina Fey & Amy Poehler   13.2% (-9 pts)

Adam Driver                      10.1% (-15)

Ryan Gosling                      7.0% (-9)

Ronda Rousey                    2.9% (-25)

Our rules are simple: Who was the best, most memorable SNL host this season? More specifically, who do you hope gets invited back next year? Whose show had your boss, your mom, and your roommate still giggling on Monday morning? It’s subjective, of course, but let’s reward the guest hosts who brought something special to the table. So far, we’ve eliminated Rousey, Amy Schumer, Chris Hemsworth, Tracy Morgan, Matthew McConaughey, Elizabeth Banks, Miley Cyrus, and Donald Trump.

Below, see one representative clip from each of the five hosts, just as a small taste of their recent performances. You’re not voting on this one sketch alone; be sure to consider the entire episode. Make your pick below, and the host with the least support will be eliminated; the other four will advance to compete against Jonah Hill on March 5. Ultimately, we’ll dismiss the less memorable hosts and crown a new Mr. or Ms. Saturday Night in May. Watch and vote below.
