JB Smoove and Seth Meyers used to work together on the Saturday Night Live writing staff. So when Smoove stopped by Late Night on Wednesday, Meyers brought up some of the comedian’s crazier rejected pitches. They range from unorthodox combinations (a Subway worker who used to be a bank teller and can’t stop licking sandwich ingredients as if they were tightly stacked money), or a hidden idea (like the manual facelift that was really a wig commercial). Some were written for specific hosts, such as a skit about the first NFL player to slap another player’s butt, for Tom Brady.
“Last year I did media day for the NFL and I brought it up to him in the press conference,” Smoove said. “He remembered it too.”

Meyers said that Smoove’s Monday pitch sessions used to be legendary, and he recounts so many that it spills into two clips. Watch them above and below, and marvel for all the SNL skits we never got to see.
