When Adele rode in James Corden’s midsize sedan for another edition of The Late Late Show‘s Carpool Karaoke, the “Hello” singer didn’t miss a beat when rapping Nicki Minaj’s stand-out verse in Kanye West’s “Monster,” confident, over-the-top hand gestures and all.

And soon after the clip aired, Minaj herself gave the segment her stamp of approval. “Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!!” Minaj captioned an Instagram video of Adele’s “Monster” moment. “The attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #Ok #IcoNic I cried when she waved bye to the careers.”

Same. And pretty apt, given that Adele’s 25 absolutely decimated the charts for 2015.

On Twitter, Minaj added that Adele is “mad ratchet.”
