It looks like Khloe Kardashian has plans for Feb. 2: The reality star says she’ll tune in to watch American Crime Story, the miniseries about the O.J. Simpson trial that will air on FX next month.
In one of the early episodes, the anthology series from Ryan Murphy briefly depicts the Kardashian children — there’s even a mini-Khloe! — and the relationship they had with father Robert (played by David Schwimmer), a close friend of Simpson (Cuba Gooding Jr.). Kardashian’s mother Kris is also depicted on the show, and played by Selma Blair.
“Oh I definitely want to see it,” Kardashian told reporters Wednesday while promoting her upcoming talk show Kocktails with Khloe for FYI. “My mom and Selma Blair became really good friends. She was at our Christmas Eve party. My mom had way more of an investment in that movie. She helped a little bit with character.”
“I would like to see it,” she continued. “However they want to portray us is fine.”
Kardashian promises to share lots of honest talk about her life and family on her talk show, which debuts Jan. 20. She hesitates to reveal whether that will include her thoughts about estranged husband Lamar Odom, who is suffering from kidney damage since doctors found cocaine and opiates in his system last October.
“It’s not my story to tell,” Kardashian said. “I’m there to support and care for him. He’s doing amazing and I’m so proud of the strength that he has to fight the battle, I’m grateful for everyone’s love and concern.”
Kocktails with Khloe will premiere at 10 p.m. ET on Jan 20 on FYI.
